"Getting to grate" a valueable oppurtunty at Park West School

We just received this email from our children's school, in Halifax:

Just a reminder that Friday, May 8th is the last day to complete the Getting to great Surveys. Voluntary participation in this survey provides valueable information to help us identify strengths and challenges at our school, so we can do our part to enhance the oppurtunties for our students to learn.

I always grumbled that they were more interested in spelling than creativity at this school... but that is some pretty creative spelling!

I'm a journalist, producer, instructor and developer. I've reported from a minefield and a dugout canoe, taught radio journalism, robotics, and anthropology in board rooms, lecture halls and mud huts, led award-winning media projects, and mentored dozens of journalists in Canada and Latin America. Today, I write about climate change and develop an app to learn English while you run.
